Elephant Nature Park

Elephants are the engineers of nature.

  • Elephant Nature Park (ENP) is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation centre in Northern Thailand, founded by renowned elephant rights advocate, Saengduean Chailert, known by her nickname Lek. It is the first ethical elephant sanctuary of its kind established in Asia and currently provides a caring home to over 100 elephants. Many of the elephants living in the sanctuary of Elephant Nature Park have been rescued by Save Elephant Foundation from street begging, elephant riding, and circus shows, where they often sustained both physical and psychological injuries. The park’s herds include blind, crippled, orphaned, and senior elephants who are now free to live a peaceful life in natural surroundings, where they are loved and respected.

  • Elephant Nature Park offers ethical half day tours, full day tours as well as overnight with full board accommodation, to stay close to the elephants at the park. Volunteer opportunities are also available to become part of the caring team helping with the feeding and various manual efforts required to support the elephants at the park.

Volunteers and visitors to Elephant Nature Park help us provide the best care for our rescued herd and thousands of other rescued animals under our care.

    • Sponsor An Elephant

Sponsorship is a great way to show your love, compassion, and support for the elephants. Your sponsorship will enable you to stay up to date with what’s going on in their lives, knowing that you are supporting their care. You can sponsor an elephant for 6 months or 1 year and you will receive a printable Certificate of Sponsorship, which can be a wonderful gift to a loved one in their honor. We send out quarterly updates, letting our sponsors know what their elephants have been up to, who they’re hanging out with, and how they’ve been doing. The sponsorship fee helps to provide the best food, medical care, and shelter for the elephants under our care.

    • Donate

Without the support of our generous donors, we would not be able to continue the important work of caring for 1000’s of animals and giving these rescued animals a better life. We need to feed more than 100 elephants, as well as provide shelter and care to them. We also provide a home to thousands of other rescued animals including dogs, cats, cows, buffalo, horses, goats, rabbits, wild pigs and many more animals who live at the sanctuary.Donations can be made via our Thai non-profit Save Elephant Foundation or via one of our international supporting NGO’s who can offer tax deductible donations in the respective countries.
